Life Tells the Story of Failure as a Disgrace

Failure doesn't amount to shame, neither does it amount to success, but two things I have seen failure do are transformation and destruction. People can choose to be transformed by failure or destroyed by failure, and one thing I have learnt from those that were transformed by failure is that they are strong. They can stand against any temptation, stand against any mountain without fear. In building up yourself, there is a 100 percent chance that you will fail. I will even say failure is a must because it will make success meaningful, make achievement worth the work, and take away pride from success but rather give humility. There are positive impacts of failure. 1. Wisdom: Sometimes a wise person is not wise because of wisdom's sake. Some of the wisdom comes from an experience they had through failure. Failure opens your eyes to see clearly what you can do better, what you need to stop doing, what you need to hasten, and what you need to slow down. I will say wise people on...

Time: The Misery of a Man

"Whatever your hand finds to do, do it with your might; for there is no work or device or knowledge or wisdom in the grave where you are going. I returned and saw under the sun that the race is not to the swift, nor the battle to the strong, nor bread to the wise, nor riches to men of understanding, nor favor to men of skill; but time and chance happen to them all."  Time is one of the things we are subjected to as humans. Time is a period; it has a beginning and an end. We cannot control time, but we can redeem or acquire time. If we cannot control time, then we redeem or acquire it by our actions. No one can stop time, but we can decide what to do with it. Now back to the first paragraph of this article. The first paragraph shared a powerful wisdom: “Time and chance happen to them all.” If we go along with the statement without looking deep into the whole context, we will probably think it is by luck or probably think, “When it is my time, everything will work out.” Thinki...
What Is Life, and Is It Worth Living? Life is an existence. Life is a gift given freely to everyone. We didn’t buy life, we didn’t work for it, yet it came as a free gift. Life is an existence, not just a biological process or the mere definition science gives to it. What science sees as life is only a minute detail of life. Life is what we unveil every day as we are given the opportunity to exist. Is Life Worth Living? Yes, life is worth living because it is the only reason we exist, and we are indebted to live our lives to the fullest not living like a stranger or like a crowd in a market. You have an essence for existence, and everything in life bears witness to your words, actions, and character. From the universal law of gravitation, it is stated that bodies on earth experience a force of attraction which is proportional to the product of their masses and inversely proportional to the square of the distance between them. This signifies a connection between humans. We were brought ...

Why Faith

Why Faith? All things are possible unto him that believes. Most of what you see is a result of someone’s belief. Faith is a creative power that produces what we cannot see with our ordinary eyes into reality and makes us see them clearly in the physical. You can’t see goals, dreams, or supernatural things come into reality with your eyes except they are manifested by faith into reality. Faith is a superpower you must possess because you will only have visions, goals, dreams, and wishes without it. What Can Faith Do? Faith makes anything possible. It brings hope into reality: Now faith is the substance of things hoped for and the evidence of things not seen. Why You Should Have Faith “But let him ask in faith, not wavering, for he that wavereth is like a wave of the sea driven with the wind and tossed.” When we don’t do things in faith, we are just like waves that do not have a constant direction. Without faith, we become futile. Faith is the only difference between the spiritual ...

Building good habits and breaking bad habits.

What is a habit? A habit is a habitual act formed from thought and identity. The action you performed before it became a habit started from your thought. Before building a cleanliness habit, it started first with a thought of cleanliness, then when you start taking actions of cleanliness, you then accept it as part of your identity. You have to accept that you are a clean person. This is how you build and break habits: 1. Accepting it as part of your identity 2. Focusing your thoughts on the habit you want to build or break 3. Building systems and taking action toward the habit you want 4 Things you must do 1. Start the habit first in your mind: Romans 12:2 KJV says: And be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what is that good, and acceptable, and perfect, will of God. The person who wrote this Bible verse knew what it takes to build and break habits, which is to think about the habit, meditate on the habit, and accep...

How to achieve your goals

God shared something extraordinary with me during the Gibeon Camp Meeting, and I would love to share it with you all. He gave me five powerful keys to achieving your goals. For a long time, I struggled with reaching my goals, but God opened my eyes to these principles: 1. Desire : Every achievement begins with a strong desire. If you don’t want it enough, you won’t pursue it. 2. Mental alignment : Your mind must agree with your plans. If your thoughts and plans don’t align, progress will always be difficult. 3. Prayer : James 5:16 reminds us that the effectual fervent prayer of the righteous makes power available. Prayer shapes your mindset, builds focus, and positions you for divine help. 4. Wisdom, Understanding, and Knowledge : It takes wisdom to build, understanding to establish, and knowledge to fill it with treasures. These are non-negotiable in your journey. 5. Diligence and Hard Work : Nothing substitutes consistent effort. Goals don't fulfill themselves you must show up an...

Why should I start planning?

Every bit you use in life is very important, and every new year is a continuation of the previous year and the next phase of your journey. We can't arrive at our destination without taking each step; that's why planning is very important. Planning is the same as a map that gives directions to navigate. We can see clearly on the map the route to take, and sometimes we might have to take other routes due to life circumstances. Here are 4 reasons you should start planning ahead. 1. It makes fulfilment easy: Let's use a story of two delivery men who were given a task to make a delivery to another city. Man A was provided with everything needed to make the delivery a success, I mean in terms of address, contact details of the customer, a step-by-step guide, and an alternate route list, but Man B was only provided with the customer's name and house number without a street name. In a case where there is nothing that will cause disruption, Man A will get the package deliver...
